Amanda Tamagni, Ed.D., is a Learning and Development Facilitator in the Department of Child and Family Studies,
Florida Center for Inclusive Communities at the University of South Florida. She provides technical assistance and training on inclusive early childhood practices and support to programs to build their capacity for implementing high-quality inclusion in early childhood settings. Amanda previously provided technical assistance and training with the state technical assistance center to school districts in the state of Florida. In this role, she worked to build district capacity, create district infrastructure, support the implementation of evidence-based practices, and support the creation of high-quality inclusive early childhood environments. Amanda has worked in early childhood special education for over 20 years and has extensive experience in teaching, training, coaching, and providing technical assistance to support high-quality inclusion in early childhood education. Her interests include the prevention of exclusionary discipline in early childcare, the promotion of inclusion in high-quality early childcare settings, and the implementation of program-wide positive behavior support.
