About me
I am a Model Teacher entering my 13th year with Baltimore City Schools and I currently serve as an Educational Associate on the Early Learning Support Team. My team works to support inclusion, instructional practices, and professional development in our early learning classrooms.
Prior to this position, I taught 1st and 2nd grade in Baltimore City Schools, worked in Connecticut at a school specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis for students on the autism spectrum, and at a lab school for students with multiple disabilities at St. Joseph’s University.
I strongly believe in early intervention and building our students’ educational foundation and passion for learning in their early years. I’ve developed a deep interest in teacher preparation and development through my work as a facilitator for NTSI, as a seminar instructor for Baltimore City Teaching Residency, and developing several AU courses. I’m looking forward to meeting our new group of Baltimore City Schools’ Educators!
