Luis Alberto Castillo Acosta is a lawyer, percussionist, and music educator with over 20 years of experience in music education. Trained in El Sistema Nacional de Orquestas de Mérida, Venezuela, he has dedicated his career to expanding opportunities for young musicians with disabilities. As Coordinator of the Special Education Program at Sinfonía por el Perú, he brings over 13 years of expertise in teaching music to individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusive practices, accessibility, and family engagement. His work focuses on expanding opportunities, raising family expectations, and fostering the holistic development of the program’s participants. Through his leadership, Sinfonía por el Perú continues to advance toward a fully inclusive music education model.
