About me
Anel Vásquez is a Peruvian sociologist with expertise in social research, inclusion, and equity. A graduate of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, she also studied at UNC-Chapel Hill as an exchange student. With six years of experience in both the public and private sectors, her work focuses on social intervention and research-driven policy development. As part of the social intervention team at Sinfonía por el Perú, Anel overseas the Special Education Program, ensuring the holistic development of children with intellectual disabilities through collective music education. Her work fosters empowering environments that promote life skills, values, and active citizenship for vulnerable youth. Passionate about social equity and inclusive practices, she actively contributes to advancing sustainable, community-driven change in music education.
