About me
Aishah Almathkour, M.S., SLP, is a second-year doctoral student in the Speech and Hearing Sciences program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With a background in pediatric care gained from Kuwait and clinical practice in NC, Aishah developed a foundation in supporting children’s communication needs. Her research focuses on early intervention and caregiver-child interactions, with a particular interest in understanding caregiver communication’s influence on communication outcomes in young children. Aishah is passionate about bridging research and practice to empower caregivers and practitioners with evidence-based strategies that support children’s communication development.
