About me
I joined Baltimore City Schools in 1995 and am currently an ELST (Early Learning Support Team) Associate with the Early Learning Programs. Prior to this position, I taught in early childhood classrooms in several schools throughout the district, most recently teaching kindergarten at Rognel Heights Elementary. In addition to working with City Schools’ students, I serve in various capacities within the district, including: Model Teacher, Early Learning Programs Facilitator, and New Teacher Summer Institute Facilitator.
In my current position, my professional goals are to provide coaching and support for early childhood teachers to ensure inclusive, developmentally appropriate classrooms for our youngest learners. I hold a BA in Elementary Education and Liberal Arts from the College of Notre Dame and MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Coppin State University. I am certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. I also hold National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist.
